1. Emancipation Day Celebration (black shirts) One of the most historically documented early Juneteenth events in Austin, Texas at East Wood Parks
2. Juneteenth flag-the original flag colors are red white and blue. Symbol for the Juneteenth holiday. The colors represent freedom and the end of slavery. This version was created by Ben Haith in 1997.
3. Opal Lee-(Grandmother of Juneteenth) Activist in the movement to make Juneteenth a federally recognized holiday!
